MAGIC CLASS III- PETITIONS
Join us October 3rd for our third installment of Magic Class where Kristen shares all about the act of creation and use of PETITIONS in magic and magical practice.
Petitions are written agreements, requests, and spells in of themselves.
They have a wide range of application in magical work.
They can be approached from a simple and utilitarian standpoint all the way to a lengthy, elaborate, and highly decorated piece that results in a form of talismanic art.
As always, Kristen shares knowledge from her first hand experiences with this work.
In this class we will cover:
Petitions- What are they and how are they implemented in magic and ritual.
Creativity and its role in magic.
Materials used: Paper, Inks, Writing Tools, and the importance of tool consecration.
Images, Symbols, Sigils, Words- What to write on your petition.
How long to "work" the petition and when to release.
Charging and Enchantments: Smoke Baths and Prayers.
Forms of binding and release: Burn, Bury, Freeze, Sink, or Keep.
Enchanting Petitions as Talismans.
BONUS CREATIVE CONTENT:
Kristen will share her creative ways of using retired Tarot cards in magic and how to use them as petitions or to enchant them as Talismans.
A powerful, fun and unique way that ART transforms, seals, and solidifies magical work in a beautiful way.
Class will be held over ZOOM at 7:00 PM CST.
Attendance is encouraged.
All attendees will receive a recording of the class sent to their email.
